How to Add Water Cooling to Your RC Boat
Water cooling your motor and speed control is an effective and easy way to increase the performance of your boats electrical system. Cooling coils for motors and water pickups are available from several dealers if you’re not a “do it yourselfer” but for this how too everything will be made from scratch. This particular installation is done on a RRH Mutineer Mono and I’ll be installing the water pickup through hull.

The Great Lipo Debate
Hi All,
Man, I can’t believe all the hub-bub about using lipo batteries in FE boats. To read the comments on some of the boards is comical at best. Hey, lipos are here to stay and either you join in and enjoy the ride or sit on the sidelines and watch everyone else have fun. The IMPBA just past (by 3 to 1 margin) a rule that lipos can now be used in competition, kudos to the forward thinking Org. NAMBA members on the other hand say it’s the “death of FE boat racing”. Hogwash!
I’ll tell ya, racing anything is not cheap. If you want to be at the top of your game you have to pay to play. Most of the flak is coming from guys that don’t even bother travelling to races! Sorry but those peoples comments fall on deaf ears, the carry no weight. Hey, nobody is saying you can’t run old tech in your club, do what you want. But if you want to attract the hard core racers out there you better smell the roses cause their not sitting around waiting for you to WAKE UP!
Paul.
